oh my.  what is it with all these flames lately? bumprr – did you know that some things can’t be waved away with a simple apology?  most people realize that they can’t just go around yelling and screaming, waving their hands in the air, foaming at the mouth, and spewing profanities.  and even more people realize that this type of behaviour is not easy to ignore, or just brush off with a simple, "i’m sorry".  sure, for an isolated instance, most people would be inclined to be goodhearted and forgiving.  however, when people repeatedly display this behaviour (as you have within this thread), forgiveness does not come so quickly (if at all). and the fact that you proceeded to insult toucanldy once again ("I,ll be your a leader in road rage also." which i assume was meant to say "I’ll bet you’re a leader in road rage also."), after professing to be so remorseful for your previous actions toward her, really does not do much for your credibility.  now, this is not meant to be judgmental — it is meant to be constructive criticism.  it seems to me that you are overly-defensive, causing you to be quick to anger and violent with your tongue (or fingers, as the case may be).  this, in turn, causes people to be critical of you, or possibly rude back, which then spurs your defensiveness again.  it’s a vicious cycle, and one that won’t win you any friends.  so for your own sake (and ours), please stop. trina

It appears to me that someone here is unable to handle criticism even when it is offered constructively. It also appears that someone has some "rage" issues of their own. I believe that the folks being flamed here and in previous posts are regular constructive contributors to the newsgroup. I am the one who has trouble with the "i before e except after c thing"  and the word "guess" and "geuss"  both look equally correct to me.  :-/  As I said, we all make mistakes. Yes, please do check the dates. The attack on Toucanldy was posted by bumprr on Oct. 21 My response was posted on the 22nd. I received the 2 emails on the 22nd. I apologies very hard to toucanlady! and to the NG, for speaking out like that, then I gave a compliment and respect to anyone that loved and cared for their parrot enough to try and find help for a possible mental problem,,,I spoke from my heart.  After!  my apoligie I received a post from mambird through and on the NG, flaming me, calling me names, trying to insult me and telling me not to write my stories any more because they were boring everyone.    I E-mailed her back, privately!, as not to drag crap on the NG , I will admit that E-mail she received was not a friendly note,,, but geezzz,!!  I had just opened up,and laid down with my heart open ,, she choose to salt it,,, further more, I had just given a very large apolige and admitted I was wrong and sorry for it,(wish more people could do that) ,.Anyway  in trying to keep it off the NG,, so everyone wouldnt be dragged into it didn’t work.. as mamabird posted another flame towards me, again after my apoligie and not respecting the NG by following my lead in going privet ,,,Oh well I tried !      Dealing  with people like that ,,, people that are to good to accept apologies, people that must think that they make no mistakes, and if they do,, never admit to them let alone say,,"Iam sorry,I was wrong, I didn’t mean it " ,,,, people that think they are so much better then everyone else,,,,  dealing with this type of personality all day,, is I think why I came home and let it out in a NG,        Again I apologized to the lady I had insulted, I didn’t mean it !.       Now this had happened maybe a month ago by now but again I have not participated in the NG here until now.  I have been to busy enjoying the storms, sea life and cool salt air of north. I have just docked a couple of days ago and wanted to get this of my chest. I apologized mambird ! what more did you want? a bleeding? evidently!         So anyway, I have received supporting E-mail from these nice people telling me not to let one rude person to ruin the enjoyment of those who were following and reading the stories, and for those who dont enjoy them,,,,well !   really now!, it is very simple ,,                                   Dont Read Them!        So thank you to all that have written me and I will most likely continue the saga’s as I have some wonderful experiences with my little guys and this trip through the inside passage in the: "M.V. Wa Keena-Wey"  (walking away)        For those who asked for a copy from the beginning I would be glad to send them to you,  please e-mail  me again as I accidentally deleted the addresses of those who wanted them,,sorry Thank you.
