Hi Oscar…. I’ll agree that my brain feels pretty weird. ;~} I’m not taking any drugs (orally), not even aspirin. I’m just using topical preparations. Ang

Excellent questions, however. And of course, our evidence here suggests the answer is yes. Maybe we ought to cross-post this to sci.med.pharmacy, … J.

The anxiety I felt had a much slower onset. More like two weeks. I think my brain handles some drugs differently than most. I quit the therapy becasue of fatigue, bad temper, and photophobia at double the normal dose of BTotal. I reported this in detail to Don and others. It also wasn’t improving my untreated lesions. > Is there a link between the B12 and Folic Acid and the three big > neurotransmitter systems (Dopamine / Serotonin / Adrenalin)? I couldn’t find anything useful on B12 and serotonin or dopanine. I did find a mention that B12 acts as an MAO inhibitor. There are very few reports of any problems with B12, although one study of B12 injections looks very interesting. It says there is a higher incidence of neurological complaints, and more psychotherapeutic drugs are prescribed to patients getting b12 injections of other reasons. There are hundreds of reports of B12 being used to treat various mental disorders. There is even a mention of psychological dependence on it as a treatment. B6 (in Btotal) is also mentioned only as a treatment, mostly for improving memory with little effect on mood. Folic acid appears to be rather safe. There is a hypothesis that deficiencies of the B vitamins B12, B6, and Folate cause an accumulation of homocysteine in the brain. That’s all for now. Hi Sam and all, I just started ( 4 days ago ) the B12 / FA. I’ve been in treatment with low dosage Fluoxetine / Ketazolam because I’ve been suffering from anxiety disturbs under well control so far. Plus I take two drops / day of Timolol 0.5 % to control my glaucoma ( I’m bursting with health ! ). The first 3 days I felt a worsening of my anxiety symptoms and a lot of nightmares during my sleep ( I never felt nightmares… only when I was a child ). I’ve discussed that with Mr. Don Sipler ( He’s a very kind person and I’d like to thanke him publicy for his help ). He told me that he never heard anything similar to my problems with the B12 / FA. Now it seeems to me that some other people have beeen feeling something in their Central Nervous System ( Harrison, Angela, Linda ). So, I’m not alone.I just wondering. The anxiety disturbs and the depression originate from a derangement of the neurotransmitters ( Dopamine and Serotonine and Adrenergic System as well ).The B12 and Folic Acid have a close link with the CNS ( the B12 deficiency can result in a progressive swelling of myelinated neurons and in major damage to the cerebral cortex ). Is there a link between the B12 and Folic Acid and the three big neurotransmitter systems( Dopamine / Serotonin / Adrenalin )? Is there a link between the B12 / FA shot dosage and the drugs that work on the CNS ( Prozac and the Serotonin reuptake inhibitors or Benzodiazepines )? Sorry, only a lot of questions and any answer. I think it would be very interesting to know some more about those who’re trying the B12 / FA and overall if they’re taking some drugs. It would be of paramount importance to hear much more from those who have been feeeling something weird respect their brain. Was tey taking some other drugs ? B12 / Folic acid and other drugs : a good challenge I think. Isn’t true ? I’ll update my situation. Later. Oscar from Italy
